Season of Bloom

Each month in Get Messy there is a theme, celebrated on a Season. Each Season has a guest techer with lessons to quick start the season, and a sidequick book with prompts, quotes, collage papers, so that you can create during the month on your artjournal.

During this month we are celebrating the Season of Bloom.

So for this Season I invite you to create the Bloom Book

After a severe Winter, full of rain, snow and wind, nature reborn and shine for us in a stunning beauty blooming on spring and summer, with lots of colors shared in the beauty of flowers and fruits.

Create a little book that is testimony to the passage of time.

Let it fall and then bloom

I invite you to make an exercise of letting go ideas of perfection and deconstruct the conception of beauty. Play with colors, shades and lines to create paper that you will use as your collage elements inside you bloom book.

Besides everything, after a hard Winter, flowers always bloom!!!

To bloom each plant has to go through to the winter. The shinny, colorful flowers that we have on Spring they bloom after days of rain and cold. After the hot summer all nature fades and fall when autumn whispers and pass through landscapes as an eraser.

Beauty is everywhere, but sometimes we are enticed to see beauty only on perfection.

Join me as we create collage papers. I guide you step by step on my process of making the Bloom Book

and all my process of collaging and add color to the book to let it Bloom again.
