Do you have that feeling that you don’t have enough colors to play with or that fancy supplies, and because of that you think that you can´t create or go deeper with your creativity?
I know many of you have this feeling, but I want you to consider that this idea can´t be more wrong and can put you in a position to block your creativity.
I really believe that when we keep supplies limited, we can deepen the exploration and find new ways to work with that mediums
A few weeks ago I jump into the Get messy Community. I will give more insights on this amazing community and why I decided to join in a future post, because today I’m super excited to share with you more about the experience and my learns on the season and Artist featured this month.
During this month of June, the guest artist is Barbara Graham @bjgrahamart, and we are celebrating the Season of Less.
I must tell you how great her lesson is!! I’ve learned so much about color, color mixing, and composition! This season, Barbara, gives us the idea of less in an amazing exploration of color combination. Explore with less to find an incredible variety of colors to work on a page.
Sometimes, we can suffer from the “fomo” syndrome. I miss this color, this stencil, that journal, and I might be blocked, because of that feeling and we do not value or push the supplies that we have.
I really loved the lessons and I feel you can love too. It was a great discover.
I learned great tips on mixing colors and then bring them to my journal pages.
I have you a quick video for you exploring this season and probably ignite your creativity. :) I hope so!! :)
During the month I’ll go deeper exploring in my journals and I’ll keep you updated with inspiration.
If you haven’t I encourage you to take a look at Get Messy Art community.
Amazing artists each month, great step by step lessons, supportive and motivating community to keep you inspired and amazed with your journey.
