Use flowers to inspire you - Life Documented

USE WATERCOLORS TO DOODLE YOUR FLOWERS

This Saturday I had the pleasure to be, again guest teacher on a wonderful art journaling community that is Life Documented.

Those of you that follow my work since the beginning you know how this community is on my heart. I participated many years and grew as an artist a lot creating week after week with Life Documented Project.

In the last years I’ve been, at least one time, making a prompt lesson for one of the weeks.

This week was mine in Life Documented and I choose to create inspired in flowers!!! :) :) What else could be in this time of the year?? :) :)

Flowers are one of my biggest inspirations as you know, and at this time of the year, they are blooming everywhere here on north hemisphere. We don’t need to go far to pick a little bouquet and get inspired.

This is my invitation to you this week. Pick up some flowers and use them as inspiration.

Right now on my garden, I have several beautiful flowers blooming, but the one that stands in from of the eyes is calêndulas.

They have a bright beautiful orange that really inspires me.

I use them to doodle some watercolor flowers and leaves papers to use them as collage on my art journal.

Now that we have our flower elements, select some more papers to create a collage. With different collage papers and this flowers I create a beautiful page on my Journal.

I create a video to share with you my process of collage and all the process until the final spread.
